  Walking Holidays

Self guided walking holidays in South Devon and Dartmoor.

Luxury accommodation - good food -

delightful walking.

Devon walking holidays are based at Raddicombe Lodge which is located just 2 miles from both Brixham and Dartmouth in South Devon. The lodge is situated close to the South West Coast Path which leads to tucked away coves, harbour towns and estuaries - some of the most superb scenery to be found anywhere in Britain.

We are also close to the River Dart Trail which leads alongside the River Dart from Kingswear, via Greenway and Galmpton towards Totnes. Plus we can suggest 6 of our favourite walks based from Kingswear. The later being circular routes around coast, river and village.

The lodge is also just a short journey from Dartmoor, where you are spoilt for choice by the many varied walking opportunities, from the open moorland to picturesque river valleys.

Devon walking holidays offer self-guided walking holidays. We provide maps and walking guides and lots of free advice on gentle scenic village and riverside strolls to more adventurous moorland or coastal walks.

So, rather than having the hassle of booking different accommodation every night or the need to rush to your next overnight stay - come and enjoy a hassle free walking holiday at Raddicombe Lodge.

You decide which walk or which section to explore, where to start and where to finish. We offer transport to the start point after a freshly cooked breakfast and collect you from your chosen end point later in the day. (ask for details of costs). If you have a mobile phone you can even call us to arrange a revised pick up point. This takes away the need for round trip walking or the use of 2 cars. We can also provide packed lunches at £5 per head, saving you the hassle of getting to a suitable lunch spot on route.

Raddicombe Lodge is licensed and can offer you a superb 4 course dinner along with a drink from our beer, cider or wine list. (Dinner is normally served on Mondays and Thursdays). We have a private car park at the lodge so your car can be left throughout your stay if you so wish. We have a Kit/Boot drying room where damp kit and soggy boots can dry out overnight.
